Tournament
We run an annual tournament in the summer - the Stewart Vernalls Tournament - all proceeds from the tournament are donated to our preferred charity. Our chosen charity this year is the Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven, a charity too many of our netballing community have experienced or know someone who has.
Our annual summer Tournament is run in memory of Stewart Vernalls - Stewart was sadly killed in a traffic accident so it is important we honour his memory. Stewart was a highly qualified umpire and he mentored and coached many umpires, making a significant difference to netball across Worcestershire. Stewart always had time for anyone who needed his help.
The tournament is generally held on the middle Wednesday in June - we also run a raffle to help boost funds we are able to donate. If anyone wishes to donate a raffle prize, please contact the Tournament Secretary on the link below
