Summer League
WCNL has a very active summer league 2023.
It is made up of 7 divisions from Premier through to Division 6. We play at various locations across Worcestershire on either a Monday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings. Premier games start at either 7.00pm or 8.15pm, all other divisions are to start promptly at 7pm.
Entry forms for the summer league are sent to all teams in January each year by Sarah, Fixtures Secretary. If you are interested in entering a team for the first time and want to contact Sarah please email her Fixtures Secretary
Each team is to supply an umpire for their games, for the summer league 2023 there will be neutral umpires. Teams should turn up to play on a court and the umpire should stand in the centre circle facing Worcester Cathedral and move to the right hand court.
Changes for 2023 - with the additional bank holidays in May this year, we have decided to move games which would be played on 1st May to be played on Tuesday 2nd May and those on Monday 8th May to be played on Tuesday 9th May.
Result sheets - must be completed and signed by both umpires and both teams. It is the responsibility of teams to pick a 'player of the match' for both teams at the end of each game. Once completed, result sheets must be sent to Sarah within 3 days of the game. A picture of the result sheet can be emailed to Sarah on the email address above, alternatively you can send a picture to Sarah via Whatsapp - 07704 049168.
Summer League Stewart Vernalls Tournament will be played on Wednesday 21st June 2023.
